Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.3.180621 version, Directory Integration Platform

Symptom 1:


Executing the following command fails:

manageSyncProfiles update -h <HOSTNAME> -p 7005 -D weblogic -pf Sync_Profile_Name -params "odip.profile.mapfile Properties_file.txt"

The following error is reported as a result:

"<Profile DN> directory profile is not associated to a group"

....and additional errors may be shown stating:

"Unrecognized property <property_name>"

 

Note: The above error output messages appear, as responses from the command execution.

 

 Symptom 2:

This was working before. Unaware of any changes.

Unable to edit or disable an existing DIP AD to OID sync profile.

Also unable to create a brand new profile, it fails with:

<profilename> directory profile is not associated to a group

 

Changes

 Attempting to specify correct configuration options for the "manageSynProfiles" command.
