Goal

To explain how ldapsearch handles attribute values that include characters outside the ASCII 7 bit character encoding.

Intended for Oracle Internet Directory (OID) administrators and developers who need to manage data that includes characters other than the standard 7 bit ASCII set in OID. For example, accented and national characters, umlauts, diacrits, special characters and any non-ASCII character set.
