April SOA CPU introduces SSH/SFTP transport error

Exception on TransportManagerImpl.sendMessageAsync: Error, java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.maverick.ssh.SshConnector.getInstance()Lcom/maverick/ssh/SshConnector;[[
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.maverick.ssh.SshConnector.getInstance()Lcom/maverick/ssh/SshConnector;

Having searched MOS, I tried applying patch 28772244 but this leads to a new error:

<Error occurred for endpoint com.bea.wli.sb.transports.TransportException: com.maverick.ssh.SshException: Your subscription has expired! visit http://www.sshtools.com to purchase a subscription
