User Personalization Column Reordering In Table Not Getting Saved In MDS With SetFullSqlMode() (Doc ID 2678340.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 04, 2025

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

User Personalizations for Column Reordering is not getting saved in MDS and File Based Personalization in the following scenario.
When ViewObject has a Query programmatically set using the setFullSqlMode(FULLSQL_MODE_AUGMENTATION), then Column Reordering does not get saved. This happens for Custom or Default search criteria.

As a result of the problem, the application behaves unexpectedly. The expected behavior should be that Column Reordering should persist across sessions.

When the query in ViewObject is declared at design time, then the User Personalization works fine. Only when the Query is set programmatically that it does not work.
