Diagnosing "loadjava" usage through JDeveloper IDE (Doc ID 2678880.1)

Last updated on JUNE 28, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle JDeveloper - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

JDeveloper IDE allows the execution of "loadjava" commands to store Java classes into the DB.

This is done using the option "Loadjava and Java Stored Procedures" from "Database Files" category in the "New Gallery"

The above, will create a "dbExport" file in a "Resource" folder in the project.

Using this file, the loadjava command can be "exported", this means the command will be executed using a connection defined in JDeveloper:

The output of this command is shown in the message panel:

Cannot generate DB Package for Java classes with external jar files using JDeveloper LoadJava option.

The above is all what can be done using JDeveloper.

What happens if a problem is seen while running loadjava?
