ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
Runtime Performance Issues in on Windows 7 Citrix VDI systems after upgrade to ESSO Logon Manager 11.1.2.3.2
Users are experiencing performance issues involving slow responsiveness and high CPU utilization on Windows 7 Citrix VDI desktops after upgrading the ESSO Logon Manager Client to version 11.1.2.3.2 (Build 96).
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Users can perform various operations on the Windows 7 Citrix VDI desktops without experiencing reduced performance resulting from the high CPU usage after the ESSO Logon Manager is upgraded to 11.1.2.3.2.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Upgrade ESSO Logon Manager to version 11.1.2.3.2 from version 11.1.1.5.1.
- Publish the updated Windows 7 Citrix VDI desktops to the production environment.
- Logon to the upgraded desktop and attempt to perform various tasks in critical applications.
BUSINESS IMPACT
Due to this issue, users can continue to work but the performance on the desktop is poor and CPU usage is excessively high. .
