Unable To Connect A Capture Commit Profile To Imaging Web Service URL Via SSL With Self-Signed Certification (Doc ID 2683222.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to login to WebCenter Content: Imaging from the WebCenter Enterprise Capture Commit profile, the following error occurs:

Failed to connect to Imaging System. Failed to login.

Error from the Log:

Caused by: javax.xml.ws.WebServiceException: Failed to access the WSDL at: https://Imaging_Server:Imaging_Port/imaging/ws/LoginService?wsdl. It failed with:
sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target.
