ODI Mapping Successfully Completes Though No Data is Loaded to Target (Doc ID 2683254.1)

Symptoms

An Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) mapping loads from a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file to a database table. It completes successfully with no errors, however, no data is loaded to the target table. This is confirmed by the Session Record Statistics showing zero for all types. Investigation determined that there was also no data inserted into the staging table.
