Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On: Password Reset
Users cannot access the ESSO-PR URLs after installing the Password Reset client 126.96.36.199.2
Installed ESSO Logon Manager and Password Reset Client using a custom MSI for version 188.8.131.52.2. The Password Reset URLs were populated in the ESSO-PR client configuration during the installation.
When the new client is installed with the custom MSI, the password reset link on the desktop login screen does not redirect the users to the password reset screen.
The user can initiate the password reset quiz and perform a password reset after installing the Password Reset Client 184.108.40.206.2.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Create a custom MSI installer for the ESSO-LM 220.127.116.11.2 client.
- Include the URLs for the Password Reset server in the Password Client configuration.
- Install the ESSO-LM and Password Reset clients with the new custom MSI.
- Attempt to start the Password Reset quiz using the Password Reset URL.
Due to this issue, users cannot reset their passwords with the ESSO Password Reset client in 18.104.22.168.2.
