Symptoms

When attempting to generating a schema in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.4 using a JSON source file the following error occurs:

The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

1. Create a new Data Server.
2. Navigate to the JDBC string and select the JSON file
3. Choose JSON interchange format.
4. Enter the following:

  File name: <FILENAME>.json
  Target Namespace: http://<DOMAIN>/InboundService
  Root_element: Root-Element
  Character set: US-ASCII
  
5. Click Ok and the error is received.
