Symptoms

An Active Directory provider has been configured in WebLogic which is working as expected however after making a successful connection to the Active Directory provider WebLogic tries to connect to unknown Active Directory hosts eventually timing out and causing performance issues.

Following observed in WebLogic server logs:

 Create a new Active Directory provider in WebLogic.
