Last updated on FEBRUARY 02, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle HTTP Server - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When Oracle HTTP Server is used to access a WebLogic cluster using SSL for both OHS and WebLogic, the request will hang and fail with a 'READ_TIMEOUT" error logged in the OHS log file.

If only one WebLogic Cluster node is running the request will be processed correctly.

If SSL is not used for the WebLogic cluster members the request will also process correctly.

got exception 'READ_TIMEOUT [os error=0,  line 258 of Reader.cpp]: no SSL read after 600 seconds

The same configuration was working in the previous version, 10.3.6.
