What is the procedure to extend or renew Identity Domain Certificate validity?

Background

OAuth delivered by OAM 12c
As per chapter 36.3.5 Fetching Identity Domain Certificate , the Digital Certificate corresponding to Identity Domain from above documentation is valid for only one year (365 days)
Earlier procedures <Doc ID 361098.1> for managing certificates using openssl tool (delivered by Webgate package) don't apply because there is no openssl tool present on OAM Server deployment.
