Symptoms
Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11g or 12c, attempting to use "startscen" on a parent scenario that calls a child scenario. If there is no agent running, the command fails. That is, the Agent is not started, and it was only installed for having the bin directory, but not configured in the ODI Studio Topology. In this configuration, when running startscen with a -NAME=<NAME> option, the local agent is used but the Operator log shows the "<NAME>" as specified under the session "agent_name".
