ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
ESSO-LM web extension does not work consistently in Firefox after upgrade to 11.1.2.3.2
In Firefox, the web extension does not react after being enabled initially. The add-on has to be deactivated/activated manually and then the browser add-on reacts. This happens after every new start of Firefox. Also tried rebooting the client. After opening Firefox and opening a "known URL" for SSO nothing happens. Pressed F5 multiple times but still no response to the web application.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
The ESSO web extension in Firefox works consistently recognize various web applications in the Firefox web browser after upgrading ESSO-LM to 11.1.2.3.2.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
- Install ESSO-LM 11.1.2.3.2 on Windows 10.
- Open the Mozilla Firefox web browser.
- Enter the URL for a pre-defined web application.
- Go to Add-ons in the Firefox web browser.
- Disable the ESSO-LM web extension.
- Enable the ESSO-LM web extension.
BUSINESS IMPACT
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, the ESSO-LM web extension does not recognize web applications in the Firefox web browser.
