Is It Possible To Read and Return an LDAP Exception In Oracle API Gateway?
(Doc ID 2699022.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle API Gateway - Version 11.1.2.4.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
After configuring Oracle API Gateway with an LDAP external connection and then using this in OAuth, is it possible to read the exception returned from LDAP when one occurs and present it as the response.
For example the end user is trying to get access token when the account being used is temporary locked. it would be preferable to retrieve the error message from LDAP to the Gateway that account has been locked and present it in the response.
Is this possible to do and if so, what is the methodology for providing the functionality?
