Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c, an ODI "SYNCHRONIZE ALL FROM FILE" Procedure Task run against an XML file Datastore fails with an error from time to time:

Once the error occurs, the agent needs to be restarted in order to get it working again.

To reproduce:

  1. Have a number of xml file loads run every night proceeded by "SYNCHRONIZE ALL FROM FILE" to refresh the data from file in agent cache
  2. Observe the error after a few days of successful runs
