Oracle HTTP Server Mod_wl_ohs Connections Failed With NO_RESOURCE, Netstat Show Many Sockets in TIME_WAIT Due To KeepAliveEnabled Incorrectly Set To "true" (Doc ID 2700791.1)

Symptoms

Application hangs when accessed application via Oracle HTTP Server(OHS) mod_wl_ohs.


Many [NO_RESOURCES] errors recorded in ohs1.log:

 

Other symptoms:
-Netstat shows 900 to 10,000+ connections in TIME_WAIT status.
-Network tracing between OHS and WLS show almost one connection created for each request.  Connection keepalive reuse is not observed.
