Goal

How to display default database connection string in a Oracle Forms 12c LOGON SCREEN?

Specifying a value (like "username@dbstring") to the parameter "userid" in Forms configuration file (formsweb.cfg) results in the following error display before the Logon Screen is displayed:

ORA-01017: invalid username/password; logon denied
