Using PuTTY to Access the OIG Marketplace Bastion Host in OCI to run kubectl Commands (Doc ID 2703125.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 21, 2020

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

This document covers obtaining the Marketplace key and converting it into a format that can be used by PuTTY in Windows so you can connect to your bastion host via ssh.

Scope

There are existing documents which describe the process of generating key pairs in PuTTY to access OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) hosts, BUT in the case of the 12.2.1.4.x versions of the OIG (Oracle Identity Governance) offerings within the Marketplace, the key pair is generated for you. This requires one to obtain the key for your Marketplace OIG bastion and then transform it into a usable format for PuTTY.
