ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Oracle ESSO v11.2.3.2 Browser Plugin for Edge Chromium Support Not Functioning with multiple browser windows Open

The latest updated Oracle ESSO extension to support Edge Chromium is unresponsive if the user has more than one Edge browser window open at a time. This behavior is not reproducible with other browsers(Ie,Chrome,Firefox).
It is specific to Edge.

It will not autofill credentials. It functions normally if only one Edge window is open.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

ESSO-LM injects credentials in web applications when multiple browser windows are open in the Edge Chromium browser.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Open a web application in the Edge Chromium web browser. User credentials are injected successfully.
  2. Open a second window in the Edge Chromium web browser and enter the URL for a separate web application. ESSO-LM fails to respond to the web application.

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot use ESSO-LM to inject credentials into web applications rendered in the Edge Chromium web browser when multiple browser windows are open. .
