OUD - T2p Scripts are not Creating OUD Instance in the Correct Directory (Doc ID 2704604.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 07, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Unified Directory - Version to [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, Configuration

oudPasteConfig command which is part of T2P process is creating instance within the target OUD home directory irrespective of the instance location we are giving in the command.

For example tried the below command.

 ./oudPasteConfig -javaHome $JAVA_HOME -targetInstanceHomeLoc /$OUD_HOME/$OUD_inst/<asinst_1> -archiveLoc /tmp/archive/oud.jar -targetOracleHomeLoc /$OUD_HOME/$OUD_ODSM/Oracle_OUD1 -movePlanLoc /tmp/plandirectory/moveplan.xml -logDirLoc /tmp/logs -targetInstanceName <asinst_1>

Expectation is that this script should create <asinst_1> in /$OUD_HOME/OUDinst directory.
But it created <asinst_1> under /$OUD_HOME/$OUD_ODSM/<asinst_1> directory.
