DIP12c: Sync-Profile 15 Character Password Limitation (Doc ID 2705798.1)

Symptoms

DIP is configured for bidirectional sync between ODSEE and OUD.

When executing the "manageSyncProfile register" command it prompts for weblogic and OUD passwords. Both passwords are 24 characters.

The following error was encountered:


"Invalid value for attribute "orclodipcondiraccessaccount" or incorrect connected directory password for user "cn=<DM>"."

This command works when using an OUD password that is less than 16 characters.
