Invalid Cursor Exception When Executing Stored Proceduce From JDBC Application (Doc ID 2706576.1)

Symptoms


An application running on Websphere Application Server 8.5.5.10 and using JDBC 12.1.0.2 calls many Oracle stored procedures.
The application randomly reports "Invalid Cursor" exceptions on one of the stored procedures. When the application server is restarted, the exception is not seen for some time, and then it reappears.
