Symptoms

After JDK upgrade from 1.8.0_251 to 1.8.0_261 a deployed application fails to start upon clicking on the "Start" button on the console and the following error is thrown - Error java.io.IOException: Connection closed, EOF detected.

The target managed sever for the application shows below SSL related error corresponding to the start of the application:
