Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.0.0 to 12.2.1.4.200618 [Release 12c]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After following Document 424012.1 "How Can I Define (New) Datatypes in ODI Topology", and adding the data type "time" in PostgreSQL technology the PostgreSQL columns with data type "time" are reverse engineered properly in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12c.

However, when trying to view the content of PostgreSQL tables in ODI, the columns with data type "time" show no data, even though at PostgreSQL database level there are data in these columns.
