Symptoms

Connecting to WebLogic console http://host:port/console fails using admin port (ssl). The login page is not rendered

 

Safari (browser)

can’t open the page “https://HOST:AdminPort/console/login/LoginForm.jsp” because Safari can’t establish a secure connection to the server “HOST”
Secure Connection Failed

FireFox (brwser)
-------------------
An error occurred during a connection to HOTS:Port.  PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
