Why Oracle Traffic Director Instance Unresponsive intermittently? (Doc ID 2713267.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.1.3.0 version, Performance

Production OTD VIP/instance gets unresponsive for 15mins and this issue happening intermittently. The issue gets recover automatically after < 15 min and the requests gets processed normally.

The ping to OTD VIP get the response but no response to Client requests. Also the OTD "perf" page don't get the response.


Changes

 The stat-xml URI used to collect the OTD instance stats and finding the OTD instance status by sending several requests per secs
