Last updated on FEBRUARY 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Oracle Data Integrator on Marketplace - Version 12.2.1.4.200123 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) environment where versioning with Apache Subersion (SVN) has been configured and used, the steps below were done which resulted in already versioned objects to show as "not versioned" in the ODI repository, see also Document 2465052.1 - ODI Objects Not Marked Versioned in VCS After Back and Forth of "Switch Versioning Application".

Team -> Switch Versioning Application -> ODI
Team -> Switch Versioning Application -> Subversion
Team -> Settings -> Edit Connection, Provide the subversion connection details
Team -> Settings -> Configure, Select the existing Project name

What is the best way to restore the repository?
The goal is to keep the versioning information in SVN, and at the same time to not lose any modifications in the ODI repository that were done in the meantime, and which have not been versioned yet.

There were many modifications, and it is unknown which objects have been modified.
