On : 12.2.1.4.0 version, Fabric

Payload is not getting encoded with REST Adapter

A specific component in SOA following the upgrade to 12.2.1.4.0 is throwing an error because the response it gets from an external service is no longer binary encoded. It had always been encoded in earlier version 12.2.1.3. Do we have a change in functionality related to this in 12.2.1.4?
