System.gc() Increases GC's Reserved/Committed Size by Executing Repeatedly on Windows (Doc ID 2717335.1)

Symptoms

The reserved/committed size of a Java Virtual Machine process is increased continuously when System.gc() is run repeatedly on Windows.  A sample test case is below:

(*)The pslist command is provided by Microsoft at PsList (Microsoft).
