Symptoms

An application that makes a connection to the data base without using WebLogic Data Sources fails to come to ACTIVE state.

"Wrapped by: weblogic.rmi.extensions.RemoteRuntimeException: Unexpected Exception at weblogic.jdbc.common.internal.RmiDataSource_12213_WLStub.getConnection(Unknown Source)" is seen in the application's log.
