Intermittent java.lang.NullPointerException When Using Custom Operator In ADF Application (Doc ID 2720055.1)

Symptoms

An ADF application has a query-based View Object which View Criteria uses a custom operator. The View Object is used as lookup for LOV.

When running pages based on such View Object, users experience intermittent NullPointerException. The only way to be able to use the applicationis by clearing the session and again performing a login into the application.
