Last updated on OCTOBER 19, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After starting the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.2.1.3 Java EE agent, it is observed that an excessive number of connections are created into the database instance which stores the ODI repository. The ODI Java EE agent is not closing the connections and this is causing the database reach the maximum session number allowed.
