BPM Workspace take long time to load the tasks (Doc ID 2725421.1)

Symptoms

BPM Workspace takes long time to display the list of user tasks.
When the user  logs into the workspace, it takes more than a minute to show the list of the tasks.

After enabling the performance logs, you can see that most of the time is spent on the queryViewAggregatedTasks method execution.

In the thread dumps you may see a thread that looks like this:
