Recieving "ODI-1228, PLS-00201, ORA-06550, PL/SQL: Statement ignored" Errors when Executing a PL/SQL Package After its Migration from OWB to ODI (Doc ID 2727924.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.2.6 and later
Oracle Data Integrator on Marketplace - Version 12.2.1.4.200123 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After having performed an Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) to Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Migration, trying to execute a procedure from an Oracle PL/SQL package in ODI which uses odiRef.getObjectName fails.
A synonym is used since the package.procedure name is too long.
The following error is observed

This is not a privilege issue because the package's procedure can be run from SQL plus using the same user, which is specified for the physical data server's connection.
