Symptoms

After configuring BPM with SSL the login fails.

The standard error logs show the following error:

Error while invoking endpoint "https://<host>:<port>/integration/services/IdentityService/identity" from client
...
Caused by: ORABPEL-10585
Service error.
Internal Error; Service error occurs in IdentityService in method lookupUser.
....

Caused by: oracle.bpel.services.workflow.client.WorkflowServiceClientException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target. Time taken by entire flow is 1 seconds.
