Goal

This document describes how to change (upgrade/downgrade) the Java Platform
Standard Edition (J2SE) version within an Oracle Application Server 10.1.2.x installation.

This approach changes the JDK version being used by all java components
and command line utilities within the Application Server installation.

It's use is recommend only when wanting to upgrade the minor revision
of the JDK (e.g. from 1.4.2_07 to 1.4.2_10) across all components
within Application Server.

The following manual steps are intended for developers, database administrators
and UNIX system administrators (for systems other than AIX) whose roles include
responsibility for the maintenance of Oracle Application Server installations.
