NullPointerException Occurs when Clicking Expression in Property of Physical Mapping (Doc ID 2731622.1)

Symptoms

Editing the expression for a target group execution unit in an Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) mapping using Studio results in a NullPointerException when double-clicking an expression.

The error is as follows, shown in an "Unexpected error occurred" pop-up window:

 

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open the mapping for edit and go to the Physical tab.
  2. Select the target within the Target Group.
  3. On the Properties tab, open Expressions.
  4. Double click on the expression. The error occurs.
