Last updated on JUNE 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebLogic Server - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In order to migrate an existing service to the cloud, MS IIS is configured to load balance to a new set of WLS Instances running inside Openshift Containers. WLS proxy plug-in is used to route the incoming traffic.

Once migrated, session persistence issues are observed and the session is switching between nodes.

Due to this issue, users are observing their sessions expiring and or their data lost and are unable to fulfill their duties.
