LTM FQDN Connectivity failover issue with Coherence Extend Proxy

There are 2 data centers for coherence cache namely DC1 and DC2 and LTM is used to redirect the Coherence extend client connection to the Data Centers. Initially LTM is configured to transfer all the Coherence extend Client connections to DC1 and when DC1 is down, LTM is configured to redirect the connections to DC2. But when DC1 is back and up, Coherence extend client connections are not redirected to DC2 even though LTM is manually configured to redirect the connections to DC1. Why is the Coherence extend client not establishing connection with DC1?
