Proxy Setting At Application Servers Blocking External Connections (Doc ID 2735351.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 08, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle SOA Suite - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When we are trying to connect to external(internet) API or wsdl's, even though we get DNS of the URL's allowlist and ports are opened in OCI at network level.
We are unable to connect/invoke URL's from SOA applications (ex: composite) servers unless we set proxy properties (proxy hostname, proxy credentials) at composite level.

Can you please check if there is any proxy setting set at weblogic/managed server/ OHS server that is restricting the connection from below VMs where SOA is running. If yes, share the location and setting to be changed where proxy restrictions are set at server level.
So, that we will get it removed as its impacting customer development with Rest API adapter.
