Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After performing upgrade of  the Oracle Access Manager (OAM) product from 12.2.1.3.0 to 12.2.1.4.0 the Enterprise Manager (EM) console still reports version as 12.2.1.3.

Why does EM Show 12.2.1.3 Version number, while Runtime version reports WebLogic Server 12.2.1.4?

Steps to Reproduce

1. Access and log into the EM console

2. In the upper right hand corner is the User Name

3. Select the drop down and Select "About Fusion Middleware Control"

4. The "About Fusion Middleware Control" screen is displayed

  • Notice the "Version" in the red box shows 12.2.1.3.0 and the "Runtime Version" in the green box shows 12.2.1.4.0
  • There is no loss in functionality, the issue is only cosmetic.
