Postgressql capture abends with ERROR OGG-04036 Positioning Sequence ID Is Out Of Order (Doc ID 2738142.1)

After cluster fail over on RDS, the extract fails with below error

ERROR OGG-04036 Positioning sequence ID is out of order, old sequence ID is 00000nnn/a666a555aa, new sequence ID is 00000nnn/b666b555bb

Customer has to alter the extract to old lsn and restart each time

Symptoms

Environment is PostgreSQL on RDS. The extracts were running fine after install.
The OGG-04036 errors started after a cluster fail over on Aurora RDS

Below db connection errors noticed right before the extract abend

"ERROR OGG-25380 Could not send the feedback packet.Error message:server closed the connection unexpectedly This probably means the server terminated abnormally before or while processing the request"
