Experiencing Very Slow Performance Running Identity Audit Scan Definition Job For Detective Scan (Doc ID 2738159.1)

Symptoms

Experiencing very slow performance when running Identity Audit Scan Definition job for detective scan in OIM. The rules attached to the policies used in the Scan Definition were increased from 1,000 to 4,500 for example and that caused a sharp decrease in job performance. One has also tried changing the batch size from 50 to 250 but that didn't help.

Steps to reproduce:

1- In the Identity console, under the compliance tab create rules (4,500) 
2- Use these rules in Policies and attached them to a Scan definition.
3- Run the Scan definition job (IdentityAudit*)
4- Observe the performance of the job run.
