ODI-26039 and "TNS-04605: Invalid syntax error: Unexpected char or LITERAL..." Errors Recieved when Testing Dataserver Connection for Autonomous Database Using a Wallet (Doc ID 2741036.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Studio, when testing an Autonomous Database (ADB) data server connection which uses a wallet file, an error like the following occurs:

The tnsnames.ora file was regenerated but the error is the same.

The issue occurred after performing the following steps:

  1. Set up a new installation of ODI to use ADW as a target
  2. Download the wallet file to the ODI studio machine
  3. Configure studio to use the wallet file
