Java.sql.SQLException: Result Set After Last Row (Doc ID 2741145.1)

Symptoms

The following exception is seen when an attempt is made to fetch the records from DB and there are no rows existing:

java.sql.SQLException: Result set after last row


- The issue does not reproduce with Oracle JDBC THIN 11.2.0.3.0 (ojdbc6.jar) and 11.2.0.4.0 (ojdbc6.jar).
- The issue occurs with Oracle JDBC THIN 19.3 (ojdbc8.jar) and 19.6 (ojdbc8.jar) - with JDK 1.8.0_261.
-  Oracle Database version used for testing this scenario was 19.8.0.0.0.
