Goldengate Bigdata Generates Duplicate Transactions/Entries In JSON after a crash (Doc ID 2741197.1)

Symptoms

Goldengate Bigdata generates duplicate transactions in the JSON files produced when EC2 instance is rebooted.
Goldengate 12.2.0.1.1 is installed on on-prem. Oracle Database is the source. GG Extract and Pump processes are setup on-prem.
Goldengate for Big Data Connector 19.1.0.0.1 is installed on AWS EC2, where replicat is running, which is generating JSONs and moving them to Amazon S3 bucket.
Rebooting the EC2 instance while transactions are active on the source side causes duplicate entries in JSONs produced.
