Symptoms
The application which used to work on version 12.2.1.4 is now having issues on version 14.1.1.0.
When trying to access the JSP page in the application, it fails and in the logs we see NullPointerException at weblogic.servlet.internal.ServletResponseImpl.getHeader.
Changes
Upgrade to WebLogic 14.1.1.
