Ldap Providers Getting No LDAP Connection Available to Process Request Errors (Doc ID 2747482.1)

Symptoms

WebCenter Content 11g and 12c

Multiple LDAP providers are set to connect to the same LDAP server.

Each provider has its User Base DN and Group Base DN set to different sections in the LDAP server.

As an example:

Provider 1:

User Base DN: cn=Users,dc=myldapserver,dc=mycompany,dc=com

Group Base DN: ou=Groups,dc=myldapserver,dc=mycompany,dc=com

Provider 2:

User Base DN: cn=MoreUsers,dc=myldapserver,dc=mycompany,dc=com

Group Base DN: ou=MoreGroups,dc=myldapserver,dc=mycompany,dc=com

Provider 3:

User Base DN: cn=OtherUsers,dc=myldapserver,dc=mycompany,dc=com

Group Base DN: ou=OtherGroups,dc=myldapserver,dc=mycompany,dc=com

Users are failing to get logged in or it takes a very long time to get logged in.

The log files will show exceptions such as the following:
